I first discovered Math the Band for my college radio show on BTR. They play synth driven dance rock, and are a lot of high energy fun. For instance, some of their song titles include “Let’s Hear It For Capitalism,” “Following All of the Rules Is Not A Crime,” and the classic “Dinosaurs Were Made Up By the CIA to Discourage Time Travel.” One of their lyrics is, “I’m so lucky that none of you realize I’m singing karaoke and there’s no talent involved at all.” It’s funny, it’s a great comment on the state of electro music in the indie world, and you can to dance to it. A winner in my book!
