I am so excited that it’s Friday.  I’m also excited for all of the cool little shows going on this weekend.  I’m definitely going to attend the Boogie Boarder/Real Estate show tomorrow night, but I posted about it yesterday and am sorry that I won’t be able to see this show.  Creaky Boards are one of my favorite little Brooklyn-bands-that-could.  I first connected with them through Saturday Looks Good To Me.  Andrew Hoepfner, who plays in that band, is also in about every other band in New York, including Shilpa Ray and Her Happy Hookers and the excellent Creaky Boards.  They play adorable indie pop, and are infamous for being the first to claim that Coldplay totally ripped them off.  Regardless, Hoepfner’s songwriting is solid, they’re fun to see live, and excellent musicians to boot.  Make sure to stop by Public Assembly to see them tomorrow, along with The Loom.
