I’ve been hearing a lot about Let’s Wrestle recently. I was a bit reluctant to check them out because they’ve been so buzzy, but once I saw that the first song on this British band’s MySpace was called “I Wish I Was In Husker Du.” Yes! Grade-A rock reference. They play Brit rock with swagger- think a little bit of Art Brut minus the sarcasm and with less conventional tunes. You should check them out tomorrow in Hoboken, along with This Bike Is A Pipebomb. I’m looking forward to seeing them at the Bell House on Friday.
