I heard this mp3 after it was recently posted on Brooklyn Vegan. Out of the many, many songs I listened to today, this one by Jay Jay Pistolet definitely stood out. It’s adorable, almost precious, but has a rolling beat underneath that keeps it moving along. The hook at the end of the chorus is very catchy. Then some beautiful horns kick in that give the track the maturity it needs. There’s only one other song up on this Brit’s myspace page, but my interest has been piqued enough to recommend this song to you. So check it out below, and add it to your iTunes library. He’ll be playing in New York on his way back to the UK after SXSW on March 23rd and 24th at Pianos and Sidewalk Cafe, respectively.
