Infectious New Song You Probably Haven't Heard Yet: The Magic Kids' "Hey Boy"

Okay, I can find nothing about this band on the internet other than a rcrdlbl post and one or two other blogs saying, “I can’t find anything about this band on the internet.”  Their myspace page has 1,754 views at the moment (barely any), one friend, and no songs up.  They do have one show with Those Darlins’, a NYRM fave.  Despite their lack of any on-line presence, the Memphis Tennessee band, Magic Kids, have put out one killer song.  It sounds like Buddy Holly meets Tilly and the Wall.  I’m not saying it’s a drop-dead-amazing song, but the combination of the catchiness and the vintage texture of the guitar sounds make it an intriguing debut.  Download and enjoy from the link below.
