I’ve been slacking the past few days, but hopefully this video will make up for it. Ponytail has really grown on me in the past year, especially after their SXSW set at Ms. Bea’s. Not only are they excellent musicians, but I can attest to the fact that they are excellent people, as well. This video for their seven-minute masterpiece of a song is brilliant. It’s weirdly lo-fi and constantly changing, just like the tune. From neon double-dutch to squiggles on a boat (you’ll see what I mean) it manages to keep my attention for all seven minutes.
