Recommended Monday Show: Crystal Antlers at The Bell House

I’ve given Crystal Stilts some love on this blog recently, but here’s a Crystal band I like even more- Crystal Antlers.  They have a brand-new album out (the album art for it is pictured above; i really dig it for some reason), that unfortunately I haven’t heard yet.  Check out the link to this cool video.  It’s from an in-studio performance at Luxury Wafers, and if you check out the site, they have a bunch of really cool live tracks for download.  I really dig the track from the new album below, too.  This is a very solid, gritty indie band that’s definitely worth giving a try, especially if you’ve never heard them before.  They’re very 60s, grungy, psychedelic noisy.  If that makes any sense.  Maybe a bit like the Black Keys crossed with the Black Lips.  I hear their live show is pretty intense.
