This show is a no-brainer. I LOVE all three of these bands. If I weren’t going to be in Philadelphia for the evening, I’d be right up at the front, camera in hand, watching three of the best bands this city has to offer. I’ve covered The Antlers quite a lot on this blog. You might know that I think their new album, Hospice, might very well be the album of the year. I just wrote that post about Cymbals Eat Guitars, and they are definitely worth seeing on their own. And White Rabbits‘ brand-new Britt Daniel (of Spoon) produced new album ain’t half bad (if it doesn’t sound just a tad too much like Spoon). You can check out the first single from the album, It’s Frightening, below. This show is seriously one of the most straight-up, well-stacked, all-around shows I’ve seen for awhile. Go.
