Spencer Krug is pretty much King, as far as I’m concerned. Luckily for everyone with ears, there’s a new Sunset Rubdown album due out on June 23rd called Dragonslayer. I’ve heard a lot of these songs played live, and they were all very moving and exciting. I haven’t heard the whole album yet, but this song is a very promising. It starts off with a tribal sounding drum beat and escalates from there. I particularly dig the lyrics, especially when he starts talking about a man who does more in a day than he does in a year. Oh Spencer. I may be a bit blinded by my love for him, but this album will hopefully be fantastic. Make sure to pick it up when it’s officially released.
