I’ve written about Baltimore band Wye Oak quite frequently on this blog. They play dreamy indie rock- the kind of songs that are just plain good. I’m very happy to report that their new album, The Knot, is streaming FOR FREE on Merge’s website. Just like the press material says, it’s the same Wye Oak but tighter, more mature, and with greater focus. Listen now here, and then buy the album when it comes out. A highly recommended listen.
