I’ve really been into Foreign Born‘s new album this week. It just sounds like summer. It sounds good. I know nothing of their live show, but I’m entranced enough by the album to recommend this show at Mercury Lounge. I really don’t like Mercury Lounge and the show is $14, but I’m betting it’s still worth it. Check out the two mp3s below. Both very different, both very catchy. This band has a lot of range, but keeps their music cohesive with a wonderfully sifting, pattering rhythm section.
