Honestly, I don’t know too much about this band. Paul and the Patients are from Brooklyn. They have an EP out. Their myspace page only has 61,000 views as of right now. One thing that I definitely know about them, though, is that when I’ve been listening to music this week, half tuning it out while I’m on the internet doing work, and their song “The Other Side” comes on, I always snap out of it and pay attention. It’s one of those rock songs that’s almost pop- it just sounds good. It’s got a good hook and a chorus that makes you feel triumphant. Plus, their song “Blogspot” makes fun of bloggers. Listen to the songs below. These simple songs are good, and I think they have mass-appeal potential. I posted them previously in a show of the day post, but I definitely think they’re worth drawing some extra attention to.
