Man, The Bell House is killing it this weekend. Thee Oh Sees last night (mediocre photos from which I am going to post directly after this) and Ponytail tonight! I’ve posted about Ponytail a lot, but they’re an experimental (don’t worry, they’re totally accessible) rock band, with soaring guitar lines, lots of pedals creating different sounds, and a lead singer who yelps and whirrs instead of actually singing. It’s not gimmicky, though; it absolutely works with their music. They have a fun, dedicated following, as well, so their shows are always exciting. If you haven’t seen this amazing band yet, tonight would be a great time!
