OooOOooOOO! It’s mischief night! The perfect night for the stage antics of King Khan & BBQ Show. If you’ve never experienced any kind of King Khan show before, it’s definitely exactly that, an experience. He has some pretty ridiculous stage antics and a huge personality. Plus, King Khan combined with Mark Sultan aka BBQ makes for some pretty good music, as well. I just saw Dum Dum Girls at CMJ, and I must say that they’re worth seeing just for the outfits alone. Not that they didn’t churn out solid vintage guitar parts and spot-on three part harmonies. It’s just that their outfits were really…cool. Yeah, cool. I personally will be going to see Yeasayer and Tanlines at the Guggenheim, also an excellent choice, but these two bands just scream “mischief” to me.
