Look at Owen Pallett. Just look at that mug. How could this not be the recommended show of the day? The Mountain Goats’ new album was pretty darn good, and Final Fantasy is always very cool to watch. With such intricate, textured songs, the show will be entertaining to the core. Plus, you’ll get to see all those die-hard Mountain Goats fans, which are a sight in and of themselves. And The Bell House is definitely a way better venue to catch this show than at tonight’s venue, Webster Hall. Titus Andronicus and The Beets are playing at the Kimmel Center, but I say skip the NYU crowd and shell out the twenty bucks for this show. It’s worth it.
