Thanks so much. I'm really glad you were able to find some new music you like.

And yes, Dananananaykroyd! You are right; they are great. I saw them at SXSW. Wall of hugs! Really cool band.

Madalyn, great list! I have to say of all the lists I've been scouring this year and every every year, yours is one of the first I've found that confirms some of the songs/bands I love and introduces me to some songs that I have not heard.

Excellent choices from 50 to 1...! I really enjoyed Dan Deacon, Handsome Furs, Harlem Shakes, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Dodos to name more than a few. However you are spot on with Japandroids...I had them in the car and would find myself taking the long way home, nothing else was better this summer than having the windows down and blasting this album and Young Hearts was my fav.

Thanks again and I look forward to visiting your blog regularly in the future!

If I could pass along one album/band you may enjoy that I think was under the radar: Dananananaykroyd - Hey Everyone...my fav song: Infinity Milk (energy, starts/stops, guitars...enjoy)
