Recommended Thursday Show: My Teenage Stride at Glasslands

If you don’t have a ticket to the second sold-out Neon Indian show, I was going to recommend the Future Islands/Javelin show at Death By Audio, but Future Islands unfortunately cancelled.  I don’t feel strongly enough about Javelin to recommend them on their own, so I thought I’d give some love to My Teenage Stride.  They came and played at Swarthmore when I was booking there, and I really enjoyed them.  They play very solid poppy indie rock, and are fixtures of the Brooklyn scene.  They’ve been around for some time now, and haven’t received the attention that some of their peers have, but I think they’re every bit as worthy.  Check out the excellent song below.
