It’s back! I’ve been slacking, but we’ll be back to regularly-scheduled programming with daily recommended shows from now. I’ve only seen The Dutchess and the Duke once, and it was all the way back at CMJ 2008. They left a big impression on me, though. Their folky tunes aren’t anything earth shattering, but they sure are a lot of fun. The duo, sometimes trio, sometimes fouro (I think) seem like the pleasantest of people, and jovially threw out songs to an impatient CMJ crowd, winning every single one of us over. Their latest album is also quite good, so I’d say that this is definitely the show of the night. MP3 below.
