Sorry for lack of weekend posting. Things were busy and then there just weren’t really any shows going on today to write about. Tomorrow go check out Oberhofer at Pianos. I’m not totally sold on his slightly-lo-fi guitar rock, but I’m pretty intrigued by the tracks up on his MySpace (and the one I posted on this blog a few days ago). Definitely intrigued enough to go see him live. Blair, who’s a bit out of this blog’s usual taste, plays the first night of her February Pianos residency Tuesday. She plays precious, sometimes more pop sometimes more adorable rock tunes. I like her song “Hello Halo,” which you can hear below. In fact, every time I hear it I get more excited to see her live.
