I’ll admit- I’m not the biggest Ra Ra Riot fan. While I wouldn’t normally put on their orchestral rock to listen to on a day to day basis, they sure are a pretty act to see live. They really play together, and have the whole build-and-swell thing down really well. Every once in awhile, it’s good to get your fix. Especially at this last-minute-pre-Coachella show at small venue, Union Hall. Tickets went one sale at noon. You can still get them, thought I’d definitely hurry up. Plants & Animals open, who I saw at SXSW. They got a bit lost in the shuffle, but they were a band I’d like to see again in a different context.
