Darlings are a long-running NYRM favorite, and it’s been a long time since I’ve recommended one of their shows. AND I’m hoping it’s been long enough that we might get to hear a few new songs at this show. I have high hopes that this band will evolve into something even better on the next album, and I’m thinking it’s about the right time to start hearing a progression in their sound. Sisters is a two person fun rocking outfit, definitely for fans of bands like JEFF the Brotherhood. I’m not sure either of these bands can fill out a space as large as Brooklyn Bowl, but that only adds to the appeal of the show. Will they succeed? Will they fail?
