Happy 4th of July! If you’re not baking an American flag cake to take to your friend’s bar b que this afternoon, definitely consider spending American’s birthday at Shea Stadium tonight. The lineup is patently ridiculous, with Future Islands and So So Glos, just to name a few. So if you need some rock bands with your hot dogs and fireworks, then it’s definitely worth the trip out to Shea Stadium. (And no, Wilco isn’t playing. I just thought it would be nice to share a nice, classic, American-themed MP3 for the occasion.)
